My love for writing was cultivated by my maternal grandmother. Mama Frankie inspired my love of writing through the letters we sent back and forth during my childhood. After her death in March 2019, everything changed. Not only did I stop writing, but I also did my best to stop feeling.

When the pandemic hit, I had to make a choice. Continue to float through life depriving myself of true happiness, or express my feelings and create a space for people who may feel the same way I do. Thus, Garden of Growth was born. 💕🌻
