Happy Birthday: One Year of Garden of Growth ๐Ÿฅณ๐ŸŽŠ๐Ÿ’•๐ŸŒป

on

One whole year! Proud is an understatement. When I decided to start blogging, I had no idea the direction it would take, and I am beyond pleased about where we are today. In honor of my baby turning one, Iโ€™ve decided to pay homage to a few of my favorite posts and share some wishes for GoG moving forward. ๐Ÿฅณ๐Ÿฅณ

A few favorites!

I had a lot of fun writing โ€œThe Art of Husbandry.โ€ It was one of those posts that allowed me to teach, and well, teaching is a passion of mine. Caring for plants is not that different from caring for yourself. This post is heavy on the grace needed for self-love. Itโ€™s one of those posts that taught me to take my time and, most importantlyโ€”be kind to myself.

This post! It was so hard to write this. I was having a tough time in one aspect of my life, and it was boiling over. I wanted to write and couldnโ€™t, but the strength I gained from pushing through to write this post gave me much-needed reassurance.

Matching energies! Whew! Thatโ€™s been a thing for a minute, and this post talks about how matching energies isnโ€™t *always* the move. Itโ€™s okay to be yourselfโ€”I recommend it, and the way to do that is to maintain the energy that belongs to you.

Last but not leastโ€ฆ

Pressure on my toesโ€”my mini synopsis over โ€œYou Are Your Best Thing,โ€ by Tarana Burke and Dr. Brenรจ Brown. I learned so much about shame resilience and how important it is to accept yourself, mistakes and all. You canโ€™t pour from an empty cup, and you canโ€™t be fully present if you are hiding from yourself. This post was refreshing, and I am thankful for all I learned.

Of course, I love all my posts, and I could spend all day writing about each one. This first anniversary means so much to me because I stuck with it. Even when I was tired physically and mentallyโ€”I told myself that the Garden of Growth was mine and I should stick with it. I am so glad I did.

I am looking forward to a new year with new adventures and posts. Thank you to everyone who has supported me! Iโ€™ve said this several times, and I will repeat itโ€”it means the WORLD to me. *Blows out candles* I wish for more insight, peace, temperance, patience, and joy to continue learning about me. I want to continue to share and help others. Those are my wishes, and I cannot wait to see where we GROW from here. ๐Ÿ’œ

โœจ all smilesโœจ

Take Care,
